After a brief hike to Aroumd village for lunch at 2,000 meters, you'll traverse the Ait Mizane floodplain. The next leg is a challenging yet stunning seven-hour trek, ascending 1,207 meters through zigzagging switchbacks and sun-kissed mule trails amid rugged terrain. Reach the cozy but modest guesthouse at Neltner, nestled at 3,207 meters between majestic peaks. Enjoy a hearty home-cooked dinner before resting for an early start tomorrow, when the summit awaits.

At dawn, prepare for a ten-hour trek to the summit. Navigate steep scree fields with caution as you ascend, mindful of the increasing altitude. After four hours, reach a wide plateau—the legendary roof of North Africa—at 4,167 meters, offering panoramic views of the Atlantic coast to the west and the shimmering Sahara plains to the east, with the silhouette of the extinct volcano Siroua to the south. Celebrate your achievement with an outdoor breakfast before embarking on a four-hour descent back to Neltner for lunch. Arrive in the charming Berber village of Imlil by dusk, completing your epic journey.

With the challenging ascent behind you, indulge in some well-deserved pampering. After breakfast, enjoy a 90-minute journey back to Marrakech and your luxurious oasis hotel.
