A week among the villages.
Eight days on foot in the High Atlas — not a peak-bagging expedition but a gentle walking journey through hidden Berber valleys, from one lodge to the next, with a mountain guide and a cook who carries the afternoon mint tea.
Designed for active travellers who want the mountains without the tents — proper beds, proper showers, proper dinners, every night. Toubkal is optional. Slow walking is encouraged.

02Into the Atlas
Up to Imlil
Marrakech → Asni → Imlil
A gentle morning drive south from Marrakech to the walnut-shaded village of Imlil at the foot of Jebel Toubkal, then a first easy walk up to the village of Aroumd in the afternoon.

A Berber-owned mountain lodge in the Imlil valley.
03Walking Day
Up the Toubkal valley
Imlil → Sidi Chamharouch
A full-day Berber walk to the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch at 2,300m — waterfalls, juniper forests, lunch by the river, and back to the kasbah for a hot hammam.

Second night. Stargazing from the terrace.
04Traverse
Over the Tizi n’Tamatert
Imlil → Tacheddirt
A half-day walk over a 2,300m mountain pass into the quieter Tacheddirt valley, where almost no vehicles go, and a long lunch with a Berber family in the village.

05Walking Day
Into the Ourika headwaters
Tacheddirt → Ourika valley
A beautiful descent through walnut orchards and terraced fields into the upper Ourika valley, ending the day at a riverside lodge surrounded by gardens.

06Gentle Day
A Berber rest day
Setti Fatma · Seven Waterfalls
A gentle walk to the seven waterfalls of Setti Fatma, a family lunch on a riverside terrace, and an afternoon at leisure with a Berber cooking class if you wish.

07Valley Day
West to Ouirgane
Ourika → Ouirgane
A scenic transfer through the mountains to the Ouirgane valley, a long lunch by a man-made lake and an afternoon of total rest before the return to Marrakech.

A French-owned mountain inn with a pool and garden.
08Departure
Back to Marrakech
Ouirgane → Marrakech → Home
A final mountain breakfast, a short drive back to Marrakech and onward transfer to Menara airport, where our host will see you through check-in.
